Carlos was trained to be the first Healthy Sexual Trainer in Spanish. As a certified sexual health educator, He provides age-appropriate information and resources about sexual health topics to help develop self-awareness.

Carlos was responsible for the creative social media content for the National Latinx HIV/AIDS Awareness Day in Central Florida.

Carlos was invited as Presenter and Lead for the Relax It’s Just Art program Preview facilitating 3 different Interactive Art Classes.

As part of the HIV/STI prevention planning of 2020, Carlos coordinated a series of focus groups designed to document Orlando's community voice of what the people want in terms of HIV and STI prevention.

Carlos was selected  after a rigorous selection of LGBTQ+ leaders from the South and Central Florida to be part of the 2nd Maven leadership Collective Orlando Cohort.

In companion with Mental Health Advocate and Leader Maria Buckley, Carlos presented a conversation with the Latinx leaders of Osceola County about the prevention efforts and basic information about HIV and substance use disorders.

Carlos was invited as a special guest at the Jevas Combativas Latinx Radio Show to talk about HIV Prevention in the Latinx Community and the disparities and disproportion that exist in Central Florida.

Carlos started the Position as HIV Justice Community Organizer with QLatinx leading the Hablando ¡ALTO! program.

As part of the digital outreach efforts, Carlos produced and helped coordinate over 5 different Social Media Clips targeting the Latinx Community of Central Florida.

Carlos planned and coordinated the most successful event for the Latinx Outreach at the National HIV Testing Day Central Florida 2019. This event was one of the  most attended event of the week, testing over 100 people and providing over 300 different services.

After the Resignation Protest in Puerto Rico, Carlos was one of the main organizers in Central Florida involved in advocating  Justice and advocating for Ricardo's resignation.

Carlos was part of the group Puertorrican Leaders from the Diaspora marching for equality and better LGBTQ laws.

Carlos was part of the group that talked and advocated in stronger assault weapon laws.
